On May 18th, 2012, under the stagename Protagonist/Antagonist, Larry McDowell will be performing three live audio/sound performances with a duration of approximately 10-15 minutes each.

THE NIGHT GARDEN
Ryan Bourne and Kiarra Albina
Experimenting with narrative through sound, song writing, illustration and animation, artists Kiarra Albina and Ryan Bourne will produce a short animated film based on the concept of The Night Garden; a psychedelic wilderness populated by love-drones, secret-language cries of existential wonder, and ultimately, a rainbow of radiance in a dark cube of night.
Ryan Bourne is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and visual artist. His prolific writing fuses elements of psychedelic music, experimental sound and pop melody. In 2001 he released his debut Jay Crocker-produced solo album, Supermodern World of Beauty, released on Saved By Radio. He has performed extensively in North America and India. In addition to his solo projects, he currently plays in Calgary bands, Deadhorse, Extra Happy Ghost!!!, and Moth Pine.
Kiarra Albina’s drawings, animation and mini-books have been exhibited throughout Canada and Europe. Her work deals with genuine expressions of love, fancy and imagination, weaving elements of magic into ordinary environments. Psychedelic, symmetrical landscapes are conjured through sculpture, projection and illustration. She writes music and self-records under the moniker, River Teeth, and plays guitar and sings in the band Moth Pine.

Morris Fox was educated at the School of Fine Arts at Concordia University in Montreal. His work deals with mankind's tumultuous relationship with history, myth making, the alienation of teenage dreams, the quiet devastation of growing up, and the ratiocinative tension between mythic progress and the decayed decadence of society on the edge of ruin.
In his painting series ABC Mythologie (2010-2011), he conjures a legendary world inhabited by monsters, dangerous god-like youths, spun around obscure stories and interpersonal histories, while linking the viewer through his retro found object sculptures to a glimpse of a time scarred world that is careening towards disaster; that is one beyond hope. Morris Fox's work has been featured in Toronto's Nuit Blanche (2011).
